During the summer months, I experimented with various salad types and used different ingredients. After taste tests, I have listed two of the main salads I enjoyed during the summer. Check out the recipes and food photographers per salad below


EVERYDAY SALAD

EVERYDAY SIDE SALAD INGREDIENTS:

  • Fresh greens

  • English cucumber

  • Red onion

  • Nuts/seeds

  • Olive oil

  • Garlic

  • Lemon juice (or vinegar)

  • Dijon mustard

  • Fine sea salt

  • Black pepper

STRAWBERRY BURRATA SALAD WITH BASIL VINAIGRETTE

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 ounces spring greens

  • 1 pound (16 ounces) of fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

  • 1 ball of fresh burrata cheese, roughly chopped or torn

  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted

  • 1/4 medium red onion, thinly sliced

BASIL VINAIGRETTE INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups tightly packed fresh basil leaves

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar

  • 1 large clove of garlic, peeled

  • 3/4 teaspoon sea salt

  • (optional) 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

  • Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
