Start Up Day: Professional Headshot Photography
On the 11th of October, I hosted a professional headshot photography session at the Northampton Library. This event was designed to provide entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals with high-quality business headshots and personal branding photography that showcase their personal and corporate brand.
During the day, I photographed 35 clients, offering approximately 5 images per person, including smiling and straight-faced options. Each client was able to view their images in real-time, thanks to my camera being tethered to a laptop via Lightroom.
During the session, I displayed my portfolio, client list, business cards, and website. This helped clients see my work and understand how personal branding photography can elevate their professional image.
Headshot Session Setup
For this corporate headshots Northampton session, I used a single key light with two reflectors:
Under-chin reflector: Adds soft light to highlight facial features
Silver reflector: Bounces light back to the key light, ensuring each subject stands out against the black background
Each shot had a clean, professional look ideal for personal branding photography and corporate profiles.
Positive Feedback and Packages
The day was a huge success, and I received excellent client feedback on Google Reviews. Based on this experience, I’m now offering professional headshot photography and corporate headshots Northampton as packages for startups, businesses, and individual professionals.
Whether for LinkedIn, company websites, or marketing materials, personal branding photography can help convey your brand personality and professional image.
