Hospitality & Hotel Photography

Capture the experience before your guests even check in.
Let’s be honest: most people decide where they want to eat or stay in under three seconds. I know how critical that window is, and I'm here to ensure your venue stands out. As an experienced hospitality photographer in Northamptonshire, I create disarming, authentic visual stories that shape how your brand is perceived, making your space the obvious choice for booking guests.
The three pillars of hospitality

I. The Vibe: Atmosphere & Interiors
Best for: Hotels, Boutique Stays, and Bars.
Great hospitality is a feeling, but translating that feeling into an image can feel incredibly tough. I specialize in high-end venue photography in Northampton, capturing the true "theatre" of your space. From the inviting amber glow of bar photography in Northamptonshire to the quiet elegance of a boutique guest suite.
Beyond the wide-angle: I don't just take static room shots; I focus on the rich textures, lighting, and details that justify your premium rates.
The result: Professional boutique hotel photography in the UK that encourages guests to hit "book" with absolute confidence.

II. The Crave: Food & Drink
Best for: Restaurants, Gastro-Pubs, and Fine Dining.
Don’t just post a basic plate; let's start a genuine craving. Whether you need vibrant pub photography in Northamptonshire or a refined menu showcase from a premier restaurant photographer in Northampton, I bring professional structure and technical lighting to every dish.
Conversion ready: A strong brand visual builds instant trust. I create Deliveroo-optimized hero shots and seasonal menu assets designed specifically as high-impact restaurant photography to increase bookings.
The result: Expert lighting and styling that effortlessly turns casual "scrollers" into hungry diners.

III. The Soul: People & Process
Best for: Hospitality Brands & Teams.
The human touch is your ultimate competitive advantage. Standing in front of a camera can feel awkward for your team, but I'm here to make it the easiest, most reassuring part of their week. In a world full of cold stock photos, your people are your true USP. I capture candid, warm lifestyle imagery of your team in action. The precision of the plating and the authentic service that brings guests back time and again.
Show the Craft: We will document the "behind the curtain" moments that build deep brand loyalty.
The Result: Authentic content that establishes a genuine, human connection with your audience.

Case Study: Hideaway Wood Farm
Hideaway Wood Farm is a luxury outdoor glamping location focused on wellbeing retreats, nature-immersion, and unique alpaca experiences. They needed a comprehensive library of professional assets that documented the entire guest experience, from the interior textures of the tents to the communal atmosphere of the farm facilities.
The Problem
The "Stale Listing" Trap. Despite having a stunning location and unique offerings, the brand’s online presence wasn't translating the feeling of being there. To increase bookings for the upcoming season, they needed to bridge the gap between "information" and "aspiration." They didn't just need photos of tents; they needed photos that made potential guests feel the warmth of the firepit.
The Approach: The Guest Journey Strategy
I framed the accommodation shots to mirror the guest’s physical journey, by capturing the exact view a guest sees as they unzip the tent and step inside for the first time.
I moved beyond empty rooms. I directed a communal "Blue Hour" shoot around the firepit with marshmallows and family interaction. This showcased the social heart of the site, making the experience feel lived-in and welcoming.
The Outcome
Increased high-quality enquiries from guests ready to book
Stronger first impressions, helping the brand justify premium pricing
A complete image library for website, social media, and seasonal marketing
“Samantha understood exactly what we wanted to convey and captured the site beautifully. The images have made a real difference to how we present ourselves online.”
Hospitality photography: Your questions answered
Everything you need to know about showcasing your space.
Do you travel as a hotel photographer in the UK?
1
Absolutely. While I am closely rooted here as a local hospitality photographer in Northamptonshire, I regularly travel right across the country to shoot premium spaces. Travel fees simply apply outside of a 10-mile radius from my base.
How much does professional hospitality photography for restaurants in the UK cost?
2
Pricing varies based on your menu size and project scope, but sessions start from £350. Because high-quality visual content acts as a direct tool to fill tables, I ensure the pricing is always transparent and tailored to deliver a strong return on your investment.
How do we photograph food without disrupting our service?
3
I typically arrive during "prep" hours or the quiet afternoon window between lunch and dinner. This ensures zero impact on your paying guests and lets your kitchen team work in a relaxed environment.
Do I need to hire a separate food stylist?
For most independent venues, my "Gentle Guidance" styling is exactly what you need. I bring a decade of creative direction to help plate, light, and position your dishes so they look flawless on camera.
4
Do you optimize hotel photography for Booking.com and other OTAs?
Yes, entirely. Online travel agencies have strict layout and quality algorithms. I compose and crop images specifically to satisfy these platforms, ensuring your hotel looks like the premium destination it is.
5
How many dishes can we shoot in one session?
This depends on the complexity of your plating, but a standard 3-hour "Menu Refresh" easily covers 8–12 key dishes alongside some interior "vibe" shots. I provide a clear, structured shot list beforehand so we don't waste a single moment of your kitchen's time.
