Food van promotional photography: Punjaban curry bases

The Brief:

To create a vibrant, high-texture gallery of promotional images for Punjaban Curry Bases, a local mobile food vendor famed for their handmade artisan curries, samosas, and street food. The imagery needed to be high-impact, versatile, and ready to use across their website, social media channels, and event and festival application pitches.

The Approach:

Street food thrives on instant visual appeal. For this promotional shoot, we stepped into the heart of the van to capture the real-time prep, cooking, and presentation of their famous dishes. We focused on three core elements:

  • The Detail: Macro shots that do the selling. The vibrant colours of fresh spices, steam rising from a hot curry, and the crisp, golden texture of their handmade samosas. Close-up imagery that stops the scroll and makes the food impossible to ignore.

  • The Process: Capturing the live prep and cooking in motion to communicate authenticity. Customers buy from people they trust and showing the craft behind the food builds exactly that.

  • The Experience: Wider contextual shots that place the food within the van environment, giving event organisers and festival bookers a clear, confident picture of the full Punjaban setup.

A great food van gallery shouldn't just list your inventory, it should sell the mouth-watering experience of that very first bite.
